The word from editor

This word is writting about an exhibition "The Czech and Slovak exiles of the 20th Century"opened in Brno on the 18th of January. Jan Kratochvíl, a son of an exiled intellectual, had the idea and the skill to organize such a comprehensive, if not monumental, display of material tracing the history of the prominent Czechoslovak emigres from the beginning of the 20th century, who were opposed first to a autocratic Austria, and later to totalitarian Nazi and communist regimes.

The opening was attanded by prominent personalities of contemporary life including many ambasadors and ministers of the state. The exhibition will be later shown in Slovakia, Prague, London. Moscow and other cities throughout the world.
