The letter from Minnesota

I will work on the article and get it to you. I also will be attending the Slet in Chicago this upcoming weekend and I am sure I could write something on that as well. I am no longer in Olomouc.I only spent one fall semester of 2003 studying at Palacky. I enjoyed every moment I was there. Mr. Palous visited Saint Paul, MN where I live. Our Sokol Unit and the Cultural Center hosted him for a few hour saturday morning. It was a wonderful experience. Since being home I have begun to search for a job and am getting more involved with the czech community.

In regards to language, I am sad to say I never use it so I am quiet out of touch. My dream is to become fluent, but it is difficult to do this without living in the Czech Republic or with a native speaker. To be honest my dream would be to work in the Czech Republic. This would be difficult to do.

I wrote a contact at the embassy in Washington D.C. but I have not received a response. I truly believe if there is a will, there is a way.

So what is new with you? I trust the magazine is doing well? You must tell me more about it.

I will get that article to you before I leave for Chicago and I will type something when I return from the 2005 Slet. (It is the XXI. American Sokol Slet) cau,

Ráda by uplatnila své znalosti a rozvinula si český jazykový základ. Jejím snem je najít práci v České republice. Snad se jí splní...)
